So these are some of my favorite Super Bowl commercials from this year.
I think the Google Search on ad is probably my favorite. Its not the funniest, or most surprising, but it is so effective with what it is trying to show you. What actually comes across is a short story, told entirely through google searches. What was the budget to shoot this thing too, like 100 bucks? Well good work google.
Bud Light and auto tune seem like they are supposed to go together. Neither are that great, but they sell like crazy and the general masses seem to love them. Im not saying on not one of those masses either…T pain at the end was a funny touch.
Volkswagon gets props from me for the mere fact that the song in the commercial is “two weeks” by Grizzly bear. A great song, although the commercial does not use most of it. This had its funny moments but really got a laugh at the very end with tracy morgan and stevie wonder…
Doritos had several funny commercials, but this was my favorite. This is one of the funniest simply for the half second shot of a man screaming a battle cry at the top of his lungs dressed in a suit of doritos armor. A chip ninja star was pretty funny as well…
Homeaway.com-this is the first ive ever heard of the website, but the did a good job of getting my attention by recreating national lampoons vacation. I love that movie, and its hilarious to see chevy chase at it again. This ad actually kinda makes me want to see another vacation movie with him at the helm. I think hes still got it…

This guy does some funny and insightful reviews of movies. If you check the website he also has a seventy, yes seventy, minute review of Star Wars episode I. I’ve actually watched the whole thing, and if you can take it, it’s actually pretty damn good.
Now I actually love avatar, and Ive seen it 4 times. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy watching this review. While I don’t agree with everything he says in it, he does make some good points. Don’t take it too seriously, just enjoy it for what it is, a ridiculous yet funny review of avatar.
